The Audi Q2 is a B-segment SUV from the German brand Audi. It was presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016 and went on sale at the end of 2016. The model uses the MQB platform, common to other transverse engine models in the Volkswagen group. It has five seats and a five-door body. The Q2 is the fourth SUV launched by Audi, being the smallest of all. The German brand had shown SUV prototypes that anticipated the lines of the new model, such as the Audi Crosslane Coupé presented at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

Model History

The vehicle was presented at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1, 2016. It is manufactured at the Audi Plant in Ingolstadt and is based on the MQB platform. However, it hit the European market in the fall of 2016. In October 2018, the presentation of the Audi SQ2 took place at the Paris Motor Show. The SQ2 is available from December 2018.

The Audi Q2 has an MMI monitor as standard, which is positioned above the instrument panel. It can be operating with a twist/press knob and two buttons on the center console.
